We anticipate 100 craft breweries to operate in Virginia within a decade at this rate of growth.” stated Brett Vassey, President & CEO of the Virginia Manufacturers Association.
The Guild also announced at today’s dedication ceremony that the premiere event of Virginia Craft Beer Month will be its Virginia Craft Brewers Fest – August 25 at Devils Backbone Brewery in Nelson County near the beautiful Wintergreen Resort. The event will bring together Virginia craft breweries to promote the craft brewing industry and the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild. The event will feature the Virginia Craft Beer Cup competition with 5 Categories and the Cup being awarded to the best overall brewery.
