Draftco Inc Looks To Expand In Virginia.

WHSV-TV Harrisonburg, VA (8/10) reports that “Governor Terry McAuliffe announced this week that Draftco, Inc., is looking to expand in Augusta County,” as “the machine and fabrication company is investing $450,000 in the county to expand its operations in Stuarts Draft.” The article states that “the expansion will look to create 16 new jobs, as well as purchase new equipment and upgrades to their space.” WHSV-TV quotes Gov. McAuliffe saying, “Draftco has maintained a strong reputation in Augusta County for more than 50 years, and continues to contribute to the expansion of the Commonwealth’s advanced manufacturing industry. To succeed in diversifying and building the new Virginia economy, it is critical to support companies of all sizes, including small businesses like Draftco.” The article adds that Draftco, “which does conventional machine work, Computer Numerical Control machine work, welding and fabrication work, sheet metal fabrication, machine and equipment building” is receiving support from the “Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP).”  Read More >>
