Nominations for 2025 Virginia Manufacturing Cup Open
-Statewide Competition Highlights Excellence & Innovation-
RICHMOND, VA—The Virginia Manufacturers Association (VMA) proudly announces the opening of nominations for the 2025 Virginia Manufacturing Cup, a statewide competition to find “The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia.” Nominations will be accepted Monday, August 4, through Sunday, September 14, at vamfgcup.com.
The Virginia Manufacturing Cup is more than a contest—it’s a celebration of the people, products, and companies that drive Virginia’s manufacturing sector. With over $52.3 billion in contributions to Virginia’s gross state product, $15.6 billion in goods exported globally, and nearly 243,000 workers employed across more than 5,000 manufacturing establishments, the manufacturing sector is a powerful economic engine for the Commonwealth. Manufacturing jobs in Virginia also offer strong career opportunities and great compensation.
“Virginia’s manufacturers are meeting complex consumer demands, inventing world-class products, and offering high-wage careers in every corner of the Commonwealth,” said Brett Vassey, President & CEO of the Virginia Manufacturers Association. “The Virginia Manufacturing Cup is our way of showcasing that innovation, recognizing amazing products, and engaging the public in an open competition to find The Coolest Thing Made in Virginia.”
Participants may nominate any Virginia-made product that is currently on the market and available for purchase by individuals aged 18 or older in all 50 states. After the nomination period closes, a public voting round will narrow the field, and the competition will conclude with the top three overall winners, as well as the top three products in each industry category, being recognized at the Virginia Manufacturing Gala on Friday, November 7, 2025—the manufacturing event of the year.
