The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) International Trade team won the “E Star” Award from the U.S. Department of Commerce for the second time. On May 14, U.S. Deputy Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Diane Farrell presented the award to VEDP President and CEO Jason El Koubi and Assistant VP for International Trade Lindsey Bertozzi.
This award, the highest honor for U.S. exporters, recognizes VEDP’s significant contributions to expanding U.S. business in international markets. VEDP first won the “E Star” Award in 2007. In 2023, VEDP-assisted programs generated $1.5 billion in export revenue, boosting U.S. export growth.
